The Pocket DS dual-screen software has been continuously upgraded based on player feedback, offering a more intuitive and flexible experience. It supports three screen modes: dual-screen independent display, main screen only, or secondary screen only. The two screens can run apps independently, enabling use cases like gaming on the main screen while browsing guides on the secondary screen, or running a modern title on one screen and a retro game on the other. Popular emulators have already been adapted, with further collaborations planned to extend application support.

Interaction is more fluid than ever, with three-finger swipe gestures allowing seamless content dragging and screen swapping. The new Focus Lock feature enables users to control which screen receives inputs, with three modes: auto, lock to main screen, or lock to secondary screen, ensuring adaptability to different scenarios.
